Some of you may be aware that the Leonid meteor shower is currently on display. The shower peaked this past weekend, but despite a couple of attempts, I haven't been able to catch a glimpse of it yet.
Alexander actually has a star named after him, under the constellation of Canis Minor (little dog) because he was born in the lunar year of the dog. If you're interested, you can find Canis Minor just left of Orion. Each time I look at the stars, I wonder which one of those stars is Alexander. Looking at stars makes me feel so alone because the stars are such a great distance away, but it also gives me a sense that something bigger and more significant is out there.
I will leave a link here to 'Twinkle Lullaby' by The Piano Guys, which was played on Alexander's funeral. It's a very simple but beautiful piece and I only started listening to this again recently- it makes me cry every time I play it.
